AUSTIN (KXAN) — Lanes of MoPac heading south that were blocked early Wednesday morning following a rollover wreck that pinned in three people are now clear, according to officials from Union Pacific.

The crash happened near Westover Road around 4:30 a.m., leaving significant damage to a guardrail in the area and blocking three lanes of MoPac. Texas Department of Transportation crews have been notified.

Emergency crews headed out to the area shortly after it happened.

Meanwhile, there is no estimated time on when the lanes will reopen, but crews have asked Union Pacific to stop any traffic on the rail line until the crash scene has been cleared.
