(NBC/NASA) — Ever wonder what Earth looks like from space in high-definition? Wonder no more.

NASA is now providing a live HD video stream of the blue planet as seen by astronauts on the International Space Station.

The ISS is equipped with four high-def, Earth-facing cameras.

It’s all part of an experiment to assess camera quality for use in space.

NASA hopes to find out how the cameras are able to survive and function in the extreme radioactive environment of low-Earth orbit.

If the stream is down or in black, you can also check out the “best of” footage taken by the cameras.
