A 911 caller from the Austin Suites Hotel at 8300 North Interstate 35 reported hearing three shots fired at 2:45 a.m. A second caller said there were four shots and that a man was hurt.

When police arrived, they did not find a victim.  The man shot later returned to the hotel, but was completely uncooperative with investigators’ questions.

Detectives finally managed to get a vague description of a man and woman involved in the shooting, but not much else.

They sent the victim to UMC Brackenridge. APD describes the man’s injuries as “minor.”
