Former Longhorns put on NFL summer camps for kids

KASEY STUDDARD

Former Longhorn stars are about to kick off a series of NFL summer camps in Round Rock.  Kasey Studdard and Lyle Sendlein hope to give the NFL experience to some aspiring “big guys” in late May.

“The kids are going to have fun but we’re going to put the kids to work,” said Studdard. “We haven’t seen O and D Line have a camp. It’s always skilled positions like Quarterbacks, recievers, running backs. Me and Lyle got together and said there needs to be an O Line D Line camp and let the big guys have their glory too.”

There’s quite a lineup of other camps:

  • May 31: Studdart & Sendlein Big Man Camp
  • June 7: Jeremy Kerley Elite 11 Football Camp
  • June 14: Vince Young 3rd Annual Football & Cheer Camp
  • June 21: Ricky Williams & Fozzy Whittaker Elite Running Back Camp

There is still time to sign up. Register through the Chasco Family YMCA.
