MISSOURI CITY, Texas (AP) — A Houston-area school bus driver faces a review after she allegedly became upset with the children, pulled over, threw the keys to a student and called for a replacement driver.
KPRC-TV reported Wednesday that the Fort Bend Independent School District has removed the driver amid the investigation. The students from Baines Middle School in Missouri City allegedly were loud on the bus.
Student Morgan Billingsley says she was terrified when the driver stopped and tossed the keys to her after the girl inquired about what was happening. Some students snapped cellphone pictures of the driver standing along the street.
Fort Bend ISD officials say the driver became frustrated and got off the bus to call a supervisor to send a replacement.
School district officials didn’t immediately return a message Thursday.
