TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — A vacant home in southeast Travis County was destroyed by a fire on Wednesday afternoon.

According to Travis County Fire Rescue Chief Ken Bailey, the single story home on Old San Antonio Road caught fire just before 3 p.m.

When firefighters got to the home, the home was already fully involved and the grass and brush around the home was on fire as well.

While tackling the fire, a swarm of bees in the attic were giving the firefighters a hard time.
