LEANDER, Texas (KXAN) – Cedar Park used tire salesman and garage owner Josh Rosa has put his Leander house up for sale.

The listing comes weeks after police criminally charged Rosa for allegedly duping customers. Court documents showed Rosa allegedly spray painted older auto parts he said he would replace on customers’ vehicles.

KXAN News discovered the development Wednesday, just a day after Rosa was arrested on a charge of tampering with a government document.

His arrests are related to an alleged emissions testing scheme at Josh’s Used Tires and Wheels on North Bell Boulevard. Authorities say Rosa knew a customer’s vehicle would not pass inspection and told his worker to test a second vehicle but enter the customer’s vehicle ID number into the state system.

In March. a KXAN Investigation revealed two felony theft charges brought against Josh Rosa. He’s accused of painting vehicle parts needing replacement and claiming they were new.
