Truck driver taken to hospital after collision with school bus

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries after crashing into a school bus on Monday morning, according to emergency medical personnel.

The collision happened on the corner of Elroy Road and Ross Road in the Del Valle area shortly after 7 a.m. EMS reported there were 22 students on board the school bus at the time of the crash. Four students were also evaluated by Austin Travis County EMS after the crash but ultimately, it was only the driver that was taken to the South Austin Medical Clinic.
