Man charged in El Paso child sex assault caught in Round Rock

ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) — A man charged with two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child last week in El Paso was arrested Thursday in Round Rock.

Keoni Jeremy Kanohokula, 36, was taken into custody by Lone Star Fugitive Task Force members in the 1400 block of East Logan Street.

After receiving information from task force members in El Paso that Kanohokula was in Round Rock, the Austin-based group set up a surveillance operation and arrested Kanohokula as he left an apartment complex.

Kanohokula was taken to the Williamson County Jail where he will stay pending extradition to El Paso County.
