SAN FRANCISCO (CNN/KRON) – It wasn’t a bird or a plane, but a special 5-year-old boy that wowed the crowd at a baseball game.
“Batkid” threw out the first pitch on Tuesday between the San Francisco Giants and Arizona Diamondbacks.
The boy, whose real name is Miles Scott, has leukemia, but it’s in remission.
He dressed up as his favorite superhero during a Make-A-Wish Foundation event late last year and became a loved figure as his alter-ego.
Perhaps Batkid gave the home team a little boost Tuesday afternoon because the G-Men beat the D-backs 7-3.
