Austin hosts international investors

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin is known for it’s technology and innovation and investors are noticing world wide.  Tuesday and Wednesday a Chinese delegation of 30 investors will be in Austin looking at different opportunities.

DB Business Group, which is a multi-sector global business development group in the USA, chose Austin as the place to host the international investors.

“It’s developing that relationship with the foreign countries out there because if we don’t work with other countries we’re going to slowly under develop our own country,” said Tommy Shoemaker, CCO for world health industries and DB Business Group.  “Austin has always been an innovator in everything form industry to music their just world renowned for all this these.

Shoemaker said since January Austin has brought in more than $8 million in international business.

DBBG said the group visiting is from the Boshang Group, which is an investmenat group in Shenzhen, China with more than 6,000 businesses and managed by the alumni association of Tsinghua University in China.

The delegation will look at different technology, pharmaceutical, and business opportunities to to possibly invest in in Austin.
