AUSTIN (KXAN) — It’s an April Fools’ joke that isn’t losing steam a week after the day many have come to know as “Prank Day.”

The video’s titled the “BEST CLASSROOM APRIL FOOLS PRANK EVER,” all made possible by a policy the targeted teacher put into place.

The teacher has a policy that dictates if a student’s cell phone rings during class, that person must take the call – on speaker, no less.

Well, a girl got to take a call from a pregnancy center confirming that she’s pregnant — with options for parenting support because the dad’s not around.

You can see the red-faced teacher clearly gets uncomfortable and publicly apologizes, until the student says it’s OK because she’s decided she’s going to name the child “April,” last name “Fools.”

The teacher’s relief is palpable, and it’s definitely a prank that will get him thinking twice about his classroom’s cell phone policy.
