AUSTIN (KXAN) Just because another week of work is here, doesn’t mean you can’t have a little fun.

Thanks to our partnership with Free Fun in Austin, we have a look at what’s going on around town that won’t cost you a thing.

Austin Lyric Opera Presents The Elixir Project

Tuesday a springtime series of live mini performances will be held at the SFC Farmer’s Market East.  It is adapted from the famous Italian opera The Elixir of Love. It starts at 4:30 p.m.

Here We Grow Again Kids Consignment Sale

Thursday and Friday get your kids ready for summer.  You can pay less for the items you need at Gateway Square Shopping Center from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Show Up Show Off Show Show

The Austin Bat Cave is hosting a talent show. There will be musicians, magicians, tap dancers and more.  That will be on Thursday at Jo’s starting at 6 p.m.

Unplugged at the Grove

If you are more into music, head on over to the Shady Grove on Thursday. The family can enjoy the indie rockers What Made Milwaukee Famous. It’s part of KGSR’s Unplugged at the Grove 21st anniversary.  The music starts at 8 p.m.

Movies in the Park: Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure

You can grab the blanket and family to enjoy a movie in the park.  That will be at Thursday at 8:30 p.m. at Republic Square Park.
