Two dogs die in central Austin house fire

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A house fire in central Austin on Friday afternoon killed two dogs.

According to the Austin Fire Department, the fire started just after 5 p.m. at a home in the 3900 block of Grayson Lane.

When firefighters arrived, heavy fire could be seen coming from the home.

Everyone inside the home was able to get out but two dogs that were pulled from the home died.

Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire.
