Austin (KXAN)- Police are investigating a Saturday morning stabbing at a North Austin 7-11 store.

Officers were called to the gas station in the 10000 block of North Lamar Blvd. shortly after 3:00 a.m to reports that a man was stabbed.

Medics transported the victim to UMC Brackenridge. He was in stable condition following surgery, according to police.

Officers were unable to release information about a suspect. Detectives continue to investigate.
