Two more SXSW crash survivors out of hospital

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Two more survivors from the South by Southwest crash are now out of the hospital, leaving one remaining person hospitalized Tuesday morning following the deadly crash that killed three people.

Recovering at University Medical Center Brackenridge, Gracie Nguyen, 23, and Evan West were two of the four people still hospitalized following the deadly SXSW crash that left three people dead. Nguyen and West are no longer in the Seton system, but DeAndre Tatum, 18, remains in critical condition at UMCB.

West is now in an inpatient rehabilitation facility. West’s wife, Jamie, was one of three killed in the crash. The crash also killed 35-year-old Steven Craenmehr, of the Netherlands, and Sandy Le, 26, later died in the hospital.

Meanwhile, Mason Endres is also now out of St. David’s Medical Center, entering an inpatient rehabilitation facility in good condition on Monday. She suffered a broken femur, a fractured neck and a broken nose.

Two days after the crash, we told you one of Endres’ favorite bands, Jared and the Mills, stopped by her hospital room for a private concert.
