Tumbleweeds take over Colorado neighborhood

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CNN) — Take a look at what happens when tumbleweeds come to town.

CNN iReporter Gabrielle Ryan took this photo on Tuesday when her Colorado Springs, Colo., neighborhood got hit with tons of tumbleweeds.

She says she was at her front door looking at her neighbor’s house and the tumbleweeds were about waist high.

Ryan also says in some parts of her neighborhood, the twisted foliage was stacked as high as 7 feet.
