Head-on crash in Dripping Springs sends five to hospital

DRIPPING SPRINGS, Texas (KXAN) — A head-on crash in Dripping Springs sent five people to the hospital on Monday evening.

According to the Department of Public Safety, the crash happened around 8:40 p.m. on Ranch Road 12 and Mercer Street.

Initial information indicates the driver of a Honda Pilot was going southbound on RR 12 and was turning onto Mercer Street but didn’t see a driver in an Infiniti coming the other direction and hit it head-on.

Four people in the Infiniti were hurt, as well as one person from the Honda. None of the injuries were life-threatening.
