Colt McCoy visits Austin hospital for health

Austin (KXAN) – Former UT quarterback Colt McCoy was at an Austin hospital on Sunday promoting health and safety.

McCoy, a former back-up quarterback with the San Francisco 49ers, visited Scott and White Hospital in Round Rock.

A lot of helpful topics were covered. Those that attended got home security tips from police, advice on health issues and even a chance to learn how to cook healthy meals.

“The whole idea is to bring to the forefront the health and safety issues that we don’t think about every day,” said McCoy.

Colt sat down to eat fruits and veggies with kids and encouraged them to take care of their bodies.
