AUSTIN (KXAN) — With spring officially here, the state wants to help you take advantage of this year’s good wildflower forecast.

TxDOT has an interactive map that shows where the wildflowers sightings are happening.

The wildflower sightings show Bluebonnets along Highway 71 in La Grange and down toward Columbus, as well as along IH-10 through Flatonia.

The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center says good precipitation in the fall and winter along with the cooler temperatures means a good season is expected.
