AUSTIN (KXAN) — There’s apparently a global explosion of “happy!”

This video’s from Jamaica, people dancing and having fun to Pharrell’s hit song “Happy” from “Despicable Me 2.” If you watched the Oscars, you saw him perform it live and get into the audience to dance with them.

Entire world seems to be enraptured, dancing in joyful videos from Paris to Hong Kong.

YouTube videos from places like Budapest, Morocco, Sydney, Dubai and London show people getting down to the jam, which seems to instantly infuse plenty of pep in your step.

International Day of Happiness happened Thursday, but the goal is to keep spreading the love – which seems to be working.

It’s seeping from every pore today, which also just so happens to be Twitter’s eighth birthday. Happy Friday, and happy birthday, Twitter! #YOLO!
