MADISON, Wisc. (NBC/WMTV) — Art is not just something you look at; it is also something you can be a part of.
This week, about 100 artists are gathering in Madison, Wisc., to create art on live human bodies for the first “Greater Midwest Body Art Fest.”
Artists are attending workshops, ranging from how to create flamboyant, Mardi Gras-type headdresses to crafting custom teeth.
The festival also involves a modeling competition and runway show.
The event runs through Saturday, and organizers expect about 500 people to attend.
