(CNN/NASA) — This is a view of the moon you don’t normally see.

NASA scientists used cameras aboard an orbiter to create this mosaic of the moon’s North Polar region.

It’s made up of more than 10,000 pictures.

Two specialized cameras captured details including texture and shading on the moon.
