White House fountain goes green

WASHINGTON, D.C. (NBC) — In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, the White House South Lawn fountain went green.

The fountain was dyed to celebrate the holiday.

This year, thanks to the enduring winter storms, the green is set off by a white, snow-covered South Lawn.
