Man dead after driver swerves into oncoming traffic

A man is dead following a crash in Del Valle Saturday night

DEL VALLE (KXAN) — A man is dead after an accident in Del Valle Saturday night. It happened just after 9:30 in the 5300 block of Ross Road.

Troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety tell KXAN that 20-year-old Han Kam Tuang was driving above the posted speed limit of 45m.p.h. when he lost control of his 2005 Ford Mustang.

Tuang swerved into the northbound lane and his car hit a 2006 Mazda Tribute driven by 31-year-old Nickolaus Herdeman.

Tuang’s passenger, 24-year-old San Marcos resident James Thang, was prounced dead on the scene at 9:54p.m.
