Man arrested following five vehicle accident

A man was arrested for Failure to Stop and Render Aid following a five vehicle accident on North Lamar Saturday afternoon.

According to court documents, 35-year-old Kenneth Miller was driving a beige Buick when it rear-ended a blue Hyundai. Police say the driver of the Hyundai was injured, and Miller drove away from the scene.

Police say that while Miller was fleeing that scene, he side swiped a silver Toyota Land Cruiser. The report states that Miller continued driving the Buick south on Lamar and crashed into a silver GMC Envoy. Multiple people in the Envoy were injured. Police say Miller then lost control of the Buick and struck a stationary object.

A total of 11 patients were treated by EMS. Five of them were taken to University Medical Center – Brackenridge. A child was transported to Dell Children’s Medical Center. None of the injuries were life threatening, according to EMS.
