BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (CNN/KBAK) — A California weatherman fought a spider on the air and won.

The spider descended onto Aaron Perlman’s head while the meteorologist was reporting on live television.

From there, the fight was on with Perlman totally spooked until he spots the spider on the floor and stomps on it with his foot.

The Bakersfield meteorologist admits he suffers from arachnophobia and says the spider simply creeped him out.
