Homeless man found dead at Austin construction site, police and workers say

Austin police are investigating the death Friday of a homeless man at a work site near U.S. 183 and Anderson Square, but said it is not considered suspicious.

Construction workers on the scene said that man was homeless, and appeared to have been sick for sever

al days. He had been frequenting the site for a few months, sleeping on a nearby ledge and asking for money, the workers said. His body was discovered by workers upon arrival at the site at 8120 Research Blvd. at 11:18 a.m. on Friday, police said.
