CAMPO accepting applications for appointee to board


AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization is now accepting applications for an individual to be appointed to the Capital Metro Board.

The CAMPO chair appointed a committee that will screen applicants and make a recommendation to the Transportation Policy Board. Current members of the board are Travis County Judge Sam Biscoe, Williamson County Commissioner Cynthia Long, City of Austin Council Member Chris Riley, and City of Leander Council Member David Siebold.

Applicants must have at least 10 years experience as a financial or accounting professional. Interested applicants should submit a CAMPO applicant information form, cover letter and resume by Feb. 28.
