AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Texans who can’t make it to the polls next month have other options.

Early voting begins Tuesday for the Texas Democratic and Republican primaries on March 4.

Secretary of State Nandita Berry says voters can cast ballots early through Feb. 28. The deadline to request a ballot by mail is Friday.

Photo identification is required to cast a ballot in person.

The general election will be held Nov. 4.
