Head-on crash shuts down RR 12

(HAYS COUNTY)  KXAN) — A head-on collision Sunday morning has shut down part of Ranch Road 12 near Falconwood Drive in between Wimberley and San Marcos.

DPS troopers are still on scene investigating. Trooper Robbie Barrera told KXAN around 7:20 a.m. Roy Morris, 21, from San Marcos crossed over the center stripe in his BMW and hit a Ford pick up truck head-on.

Morris was flown to UMC Brackenridge Hospital with life-threatening injuries. A 42-year-old man from Seguin was driving the truck and had a child with him. The two were taken to the hospital with less serious injuries.
