PFLUGERVILLE,  Texas (KXAN) — A water park opening this Memorial Day will hold a series of job fairs to hire more than 250 seasonal workers.

Hawaiian Falls Adventure Park and Water Park is currently under construction near the SH 45 and SH 130 interchange.

“If you’re 16 or older, outgoing, sing and dance, and were born to be the center of attention, we’d love to meet you,” said Susan Kruizinga, the park’s programming and events manager. “The ideal candidate will have a lot of personality and thrive in the summer sun.”

Candidates will be required to fill out an online application, and then attend one of the four job fairs for orientation and on-the-spot interviews. The process is expected to take 1-2 hours.

The job fairs will be held at the following times:

  • 4:30 pm – 8:30 pm, Thursday, March 6 – Hendrickson High School, 2905 FM 685, Pflugerville
  • 10 am – 3 pm, Saturday, March 15 – First Baptist Church, 306 S. 10th Street, Pflugerville
  • 4:30 pm – 8:30 pm, Thursday, March 20 – Pflugerville High School, 1301 Pecan Street W., Pflugerville
  • 4:30 pm – 8:30 pm, Thursday, March 27 – Connally High School, 13212 N. Lamar Blvd., Austin

Hawaiian Falls currently operates five water parks in the state, in Garland, The Colony, Mansfield, Roanoke and Waco. The location in Pflugerville, and another under construction northwest of Fort Worth, will be the company’s first adventure park/water park combo.
