Mama and 10 ducklings stop rush-hour traffic

FORT MYERS, Fla. (NBC/WBBH) — It was “make way for ducklings” in Florida.

Drivers in Ft. Myers stopped in their tracks when they saw a mama duck crossing the street with her 10 babies.

Caring drivers stopped in both directions, even though it was busy street during morning rush hour on Wednesday.

The cutest part is when the ducklings reached the other side. They followed mom by hopping up onto the seemingly giant curb. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
