Charlie Strong settles into new role, looks towards spring practice

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Five weeks into the job as Texas’ football coach, Charlie Strong sat down with KXAN’s Roger Wallace for a short interview.

With his first recruiting class signed, Strong now turns his attention towards spring practice which is scheduled begin on March 19 and wrap up with the annual Orange-White scrimmage on Saturday, April 18.

On Thursday, Strong talked about one of the cornerstone’s of his reputation as a coach, as well as being thrust into the spotlight at one of the most high profile programs in the country.
