102-foot-tall roller coaster breaks down midride

TAMPA, Fla. (CNN/WTSP) — Thrill-seekers got more than they bargained for at Busch Gardens in Tampa.

The Cheetah Hunt roller coaster broke down partway through the ride.

Tampa Fire Rescue used a bucket truck to get at least 15 riders back down to safety.

The Cheetah Hunt towers 102 feet over the theme park.

It takes riders to 60 mph in just seconds, using three magnetic launchers.

Park officials are trying to determine what caused the ride to stop.
