Man on “Most Wanted” list arrested in Arkansas

AUSTIN (KXAN) A Victoria man is in custody in Arkansas after being on the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive List for one week.

Leo Click Jr., 43, was wanted for causing a crash that killed an Austin woman and her son in Aug. 2013.

The Department of Public Safety said the crash happened on State Highway 35 in Refugio County. Click allegedly crossed over the center line while driving and crashed into a car driven by Nicole Lowenberg, 45. The crash killed her and her son, Samson Stoffrengen.

Click and several other people were also injured in the crash.

In November, the Refugio County Sheriff’s Office issued arrest warrants for him for injury to a child and criminally negligent homicide. He was also wanted for parole violation.

On Jan. 23, Click was added to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive list with a reward amount of $7,500.

On Wednesday, Jan. 29, authorities located click in a trailer home near Alma, Arkansas. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Crawford County Jail.
